YOUNG ARTISTS JURIED SHOW
Take-In is schedule for Friday March 6th. 4-6 pm and Saturday March 7th, 12-2pm

Award Ceremony & Reception is to be Saturday afternoon March 14th 2-4 pm.

Pick-up of all artworks at end of show is to be Monday, April 13th 2-6pm

Rules:
Fill out entry form and bring to take-in; A non-refundable fee of $5 per entry will be collected at the take-in
All works must be the original creation of the artist
Identify each piece of art on back with student, school, grade and artwork name
Art work must be appropriately framed (not just matted) and must hang using eye hooks or nails and a wire. Works on wood or on artist gallery wrapped canvases (not flat canvas boards) can be hung with wire and no frame
All entries must have secure wiring or eye hooks to ensure safe hanging. This is due to manner of hanging art in Henegar center.
Artwork must not be of nudes or other subject matter not appropriate for family viewing
2D entries must be no larger than 60” x 60”
3D entries must be a size and weight that can be handled by one person
Entries must be submitted during take-in hours only
Entries that are not accepted will be notified by mail

JUDGES:
Lolly Walton: If you attended the November 2008 “ArtWorks” fine art festival in downtown Eau Gallie, you saw Lolly’s winning poster for the festival. In fact, the poster was all over town promoting the art event! Lolly loved to draw as a child and art was her favorite subject in school. Lolly has been an inspiring force in the local art community. Lolly has served as the Brevard Watercolor Society President, Member of the Art & Antique Studio and the Strawbridge Art League. Awards include Strawbridge Art League “Landmarks our Heritage“; Brevard Watercolor Society; Best of Flora - Merritt Island Wildlife show, and recently chosen as the poster art for 2008 Artworks. Her artwork can be seen in Art & Antique Studio.

Clare Pearson Zipperly: Clare Pearson Zipperly is a professional artist, whom from an early age, loved to draw and paint. She recalls special attention in school for her drawing talents and won her first award in second grade. Clare is a member of the Southern, Florida, Georgia, and Brevard Watercolor societies as well as the Strawbridge Art League. She is also a member of the Southeastern Pastel Society. Her award winning, striking paintings are bright and vivid with bold strokes of color that run throughout each work. Her artwork can be seen at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery in Downtown Eau Gallie, Indigo Studios and Fine Art Gallery in Mount Dora, FL and Brigantine Gallery in Cocoa Beach, FL where she teaches watercolor classes.
